Key Responsibilities:
- To establish and maintain relationships with current and
prospective customers for ensuring catering sales business of the
hotel’s corporate and social segments.
- Effectively responds to all incoming catering opportunities for the hotel, as per the hotels standard ‘Turn around Times’.
- To create and prepare banqueting proposals for potential
customers, ensuring that all likely additional costs relating to the
event have been assessed accurately and communicated.
- To develop an effective sales strategy to attract new & additional catering sales, in conjunction with the sales team.
- Work closely and effectively with the Banquet Team, in
order to deliver & ensure accurate, complete and timely information
to operating departments.
- Responsible to meet all budgeted sales targets set by the Management & Department Head.
- Provide weekly and monthly basis sales activity & business reports to the management.
- Produce clear and accurate Event Catering Schedules within set deadlines.
- Ability to serve the special assignments under pressure in extended working hours.
Education & Professional Requirements:
- Minimum Graduation (BBA) in the field of Hospitality Management or Business Studies.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in Hotel Catering Sales or Event Management Agency is mandatory.
- Should have strong understanding of the banquet event
management, target market and enriched with a good number of customer
database.
- Must possess oral and written fluency in English &
Bengali, interpersonal skills, well groomed for interacting with
esteemed as well as High Profile clients.
- Females are encouraged to apply.
